Jack O’ Lantern Jubilee Is Coming!

By Jennifer |

The Jack O’ Lantern Jubilee will be here Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28. This year’s festival will offer two days of stellar, FREE, entertainment plus the craft vendors, food vendors, and family entertainment that packs thousands of people onto Georgia Ave. for this annual Rite of Fall.

The event will kickoff on Friday, October 27 with a concert by legendary, contemporary Christian artist, TobyMac. His set will begin at 7:30pm. We anticipate crowds to be huge so plan to get their early. We will have a great selection of food vendors onsite if you’re looking for a snack or a meal.

On Saturday, October 28 the festival opens at 10:00am. In addition to food and craft vendors, there will be an amusement ride and bounce houses for the kids, and entertainment on the second stage in the Your Pie parking lot.

Live entertainment on the main stage begins at 6:30pm with the group CMT included as their “Next Women of Country,” Chapel Hart. And at 8:00pm Saturday headliners, Gainesville, Florida’s own, Sister Hazel will bring their blend of their rootsy blend of rock, country, and jangle pop to the streets of North Augusta. It’s certain to be a lively two nights of excellent entertainment with three major acts.

It’s important to know that Georgia Ave. in downtown will be closed to traffic. If you are coming from Augusta over the 13th St. Bridge, traffic will be routed onto Center St. and then to West Ave. to get through downtown. Make note that Georgia Ave. at Center St. will close at 9:00am on Friday and not re-open until after the venue is broken down Saturday after the concert (approximately 1:00am Sunday morning).

There are multiple spots to park near the venue. Parking will be FREE. Golf cart shuttles will be available for those who don’t want to walk. Spectators are allowed to bring chairs, but NO pop-up tents allowed.

We will be sharing additional information on Facebook at Visit North Augusta, SC and North Augusta Parks, Recreation, and Tourism.
